Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli presented a staggering 91 separate looks with an African tribal influence that had me wondering if I was watching couture show rather than prêt-à-porter. It was the most exquisitely detailed tribe I’ve ever seen; I’m still consistently mesmerized by the designers’ ability to constantly one-up themselves. Their craftsmanship and vision is virtually unrivaled in ready-to-wear fashion today.
Here are some of my favorite looks and details from the show. Images courtesy of Valentino.
