VLOG: The Jeans That Made Me Love Denim Again

For most of the free world, jeans are an indispensable part of one’s wardrobe. They’re the first thing most men and women reach for when given the option to choose anything in their closets.

I am not one of those people.

Well, not for a long time, at least. Denim has never had a starring role in my wardrobe, for myriad reasons. But all that has changed now that I’ve found my “perfect” pair.

So I decided to have a little chit-chat about it…and my resting bitchface, among other things…

Mentioned in the video

Madewell Flea Market Flares:

Also, I didn’t mention it in the video, but these jeans are SUPERB for the curvy girls!

  1. I only wear jeans in late autumn/winter/early spring (in other words, cold months) and we’re still on the end of it here in Australia.

I have good brand black ones that I can no longer fit into thanks to weight I cannot get off. Mustangs, Wranglers etc, so I kept the good brand ones, chucked the crap ones, and hope to get back into them before I die, lol.

My current dark blues are $7 Kmart brand. They fit, are long, and have a slight flair on the bottom. Had them for two years now and live in them in winter.

    1. Sometimes you can just never predict which pair will fit perfectly! I have a pair of Old Navy flares from around 2002 or something that I still wear (they’re my pair to wear with low-heeled sandals or Birks).

  2. I used to live in jeans and now I cannot stand them. As a girl with some curves, it doesn’t allow me to sit comfortably. If those Madewell jeans were in my size, I would try them out as I am a little taller than average.

Great insight and cute dog! 🙂

  3. not a jean fan, either. in my early 30’s I lived in St John’s Bay corduroy boot cuts. flexible without being flimsy in a variety of colors that were not blue. not a big fan of blue in my older years, i wore out the color as a kid.
