Fringetastic: Barbara Boner Bags

Recently, during my Internet wanderings, I spotted an incredible fringed creation amongst birthday swag The Girl With Everything, Chiara Ferragni, recently received. (And let the record show its beauty is marred by the other, rather grotesque items in the shot).

Needless to say, I immediately set out on a hunt for this bag by designer Barbara Boner. Cause y’all know I love me some fringe.

A quick Google later and I unearthed the rest of Barbara Boner’s creations, and OF COURSE, I am smitten. I just love these dramatic, boho-meets-rocker bags. If only I could afford one. Sigh.

Anyway, no point in writing anything more. I’ll let the pictures do the talking…

Barbara/Boticca, I would LOVE to feature one of your bags here on G&G if you decide to gift me, The Girl Who Does Not Have Everything, with one for my birthday next month (Ginger Big Sand Bag? Ginger Handbag in black?). I promise it will not share pixel space with anything that’s not flawless. Of course, I can’t do my birthday suit like your models, but I promise there will be no fluoro houndstooth. That’s just painful.

  1. I wouldn’t carry one, but they are definitely your style V! (and yes especially the last one) In Chiara’s post I liked the necklace by Lamprini (which is a Greek girl apparently) which is also sold at Boticca!

  2. Last Winter, I searched in vain for the perfect fringe bag. I don’t know why I felt I needed one, but I know that I did. I never did find that perfect bag until now. Sigh….I’ll just hope for a knockoff πŸ™‚ Great post!

  3. That black back is so you! Its so luxe! I’m really not one for fringe usually, since its often done BADLY, but I really do like that clutch. I’d rock it!

  4. First of all, I heart Bottica!

Second, that Atlantis clutch is AMAZING. So you. Luxe and edgy all at the same time.

This was a great discovery. I never read Chiara’s blog anymore, so I doubt I would ever have come across Barbara Boner if it wasn’t for YOU.

  5. Ok I am NOt particularly a fringe girl per se, but these bags are smokin’ amazing (two words I spill all over you, by the way,) and if I were a girl who had some things, I would buy you MY fave which is the Ginger Mono bag with the black fringe and the snakeskin body. Because HOLY FUCK, I am reduced to a spasm of lust geared towards an inanimate object. Your b-day is next month? I hope those candles wishes come true! xo. Bella Q

  6. I love the mono bag! I am not so into fringe but I think I need to give it a try. =) shopping day tomorrow and fringe here I come!

  7. I should be pinning this post! Those bags are so fabulous! I love the black one! Thanks for sharing this..

  8. Oh I can see why you fell for these bags, I am a total clutch girl so the last one would be my top pick *scampers off to her website*
