FIRST RELEASE: Runway Images from Gucci F/W 2011

Lovelies, you know I was one of seven lucky bloggers invited to livestream the Gucci Fall/Winter 2011 womenswear collection today on G&G. How exciting was all of it?! The show, tweeting with @leeoliveira82 and @thetonywang, the tantalizing sheer dresses and fur-trimmed, 70s-inspired pieces—all in real-time from Milan? Loved it!

Here’s a special early look at runway photos provided to a handful of us, courtesy of Gucci…hot off the press.

UPDATE: You can now view the complete Gucci F/W 2011 collection on style.com.

  2. This is so awesome!! Big congratulations to you! I’m obsessed with sheer pieces right now so I love the second look and the colour palette of the last look is stunning. Gorgeous collection. xoxo

  3. Gorgeous! I missed the livestream and I’m just kicking myself for it. Congrats again on the opportunity – and thank you for sharing these amazing shots first! I love everything about these looks, but especially the accessories. I wish I could remember when it was that I said the world needs more fedoras – but thank you, Gucci, for agreeing with me!

  4. 1) Congrats V! It really was stellar to watch live on G&G with a cup of coffee this morning. So well deserved.
The collection was so chic and sexy.

2)Yes, the next time I fly south I will pick you up and neatly fold you into my bag that starts with an “H”. It will be my absolute pleasure.

3)The next time you are in NYC we have a date. We need some alone time doll 🙂

Cheers to a very successful day!

I had so much fun tweeting with you and Tony. It was like a tweet conference!
The 70’s look never looked so much better than Gucci’s FW11.
    Ps. I miss you too.

  6. Darling Vahni, this is just so amazing. I love the amazing fashion of Gucci, that purple fur just is mindblowing. I am so so so happy for you and proud of you. You are creating all of these amazing opportunities by being you and staying true. You have such integrity, such appeal. This is just the beginning for you, I am sure of it. Go V! <3

  7. I love these sexy luxe looks, especially with the color pairings. I am liking Frida Giannini more and more. She brought back the bamboo-handled leather Gucci handbag from the 70’s, she’s showing clothes like these, and I read she likes Depeche Mode. What’s not to like?

  8. Congratulations love for a job well done successful live streammm yey!!! but sad to say…I missed this show..I was so busy getting updates from the news in new zealand…trying to hope and pray that my batchmate will make it alive… unfortunately she is still trap inside 🙁

  10. Item number one: TOTALLY JEALOUS that you were there.
Item number two: Unless I get formally invited next fashion week, I am determined to sneak my way in.
Item number three: I plan to continue Tweeting/blogging from my jail cell until they confiscate my BlackBerry.
Item number four: BlackBerry vs. iPhone — I still can’t decide …

    1. Bonnie…I wasn’t there…I was involved in the livestream viewing. I WISH I could have been there!
And oh, iPhone all the way, honey. I used to be a BlackBerry-er. While the iPhone has its shortcomings, for bloggers, it is the best. And you have all your tunes on it to. I have the iPhone 4. I love it.

      Thanks for your comment!

  11. This was seriously such an amazing thing. Congrats to you and all who got to livestream Gucci! It was just so cool! Oh, and the show was phenomenal… Did we ever have any doubts about that? Hehe… Just getting around to commenting now, though. It’s been a crazy couple weeks! Congrats again, V!
