Hello lovelies! Back from vacay and trying to get to all your AMAZING comments! I am such a lucky lady to have so many intelligent, thoughtful readers.
In the meantime, the page so many of you have asked about is now complete. All of you who have been wondering about the tools I use, those who have been looking for a consolidated list of my “better blog” posts, and those of you who have been thinking of moving from Blogger to WordPress…this is for you!
Build a Better Blog is a tab at the top of G&G, and there is also a special right rail ad for a bit.
Please feel free to share with others, and to provide feedback or sources for blog improvement that you think should be added.

V First and Foremost I hope you have the most amazing time on your vaca! And secondly I don’t mind the break from fashion at all! Don’t get me wrong I just adore your style and fabulous pieces, but you just have such a great voice. You have incredible ideas and thoughts! And I always look forward to any interesting topic you may bring up for discussion! I cannot wait to dive into your “build a better blog” over the weekend when I have free time. I am absolutely going to dive into that gorgeously-constructed page right now. I was actually wondering if you had a host or if you used Wordpress.org so this answers my question. I’m thinking about switching hosts, setting up a Wordpress and moving my personal blog over there. The only thing is that I don’t think I’ll be able to exactly duplicate my layout, and I don’t know if I’m quite ready to give that up yet. Call me sentimental. Anyway, thank you so much for this! Your organizational skills never fail to blow my mind!

Bella, obviously you need to do what is right for you. I have just found (as most have), that WP is a better environment in the long run. Let me know if you need any help.

Hope you had an awesome vacay! This new feature is AWESOME! I’ve been very nervous about taking my blog to the next level and self hosting it so this information will be super helpful once I get the nerve to do it! And I also need to get a camera so I can start doing outfit posts. I’m going to look into the camera that you suggested!

Very true. The only thing I MIGHT be able to add is the fact that I had some issues moving everyone who was following me via Google Reader over to my Wordpress blog. I searched high and low on the internet for a solution and couldn’t find one, but I eventually fixed it through trial and error myself.
I am going to check out the links you have and see where my experience differed, and might post something from that angle. We’ll see!

Of course you’re not stuck, doll! All the tutorials to make the move are on my Build a Better Blog page. As long as you communicate your move, your readers will follow! And your Blogger blog will still be there. You have nothing to lose.
What a great resource, I’m going to bookmark it and dip in over the next few weeks – though I’m a bit short on time for actually making said blog improvements at the moment! I’m a bit of a html luddite. Taking all my energy just to post!

Haven’t been by in a while due to extreme busy-ness, but I just wanted to say I found your survey results fascinating and very useful! I’ll check these posts out. Thank you Cynthia! I understand your reluctance to lose your comments. I’ve never converted from Tumblr to WordPress, but I suspect you will not lose your history. I didn’t love mine when I imported from OnSugar and Blogger. When you do get time, maybe Google the topic and see what others have experienced.
