This week, Katy decided to take her Friend Friday* questions in a more lighthearted direction ( fall 2010 fashion!), and I’m so glad she did. Because from about the beginning of August annually, I just can’t wait to get back to fall, so all my beloved boots and cozy knits can come out and play.

1. chambray shirt. i’ve been wearing it with my grey suit, burgundy sweater vest, and python pumps. Not a trend but I plan on getting a “riding” jacket that sold out on me last year but has been brought back. I’ll probably be broke for a while after that!!
2. trench coats, but I wear them at least once a week even in the summer.
3. You just reminded me of the thigh high boots. It would be cool to find a flat leather version.
4. less hot.
5. i wish.
I wish I could do the fur thing, but it’s just doesn’t get cold enough to justify it. I love the way those black shaggy monkey fur coats look, kind of tacky but I love it.

I am a vegetarian, as you know, however I own some leather bags and boots, so good for you loving your furs. Your bag looks good on you, but perphaps because you can pull just about anything.

I love leopard print too! It was really popular last winter so I’m glad I invested in a leopard print coat that I can wear again this season. Also, as a vegetarian I don’t wear fur, but I do love faux fur
Unlike you, I LOVE heat and I’m hoping most of my winter will be spent in a hot hot hot sunny country!

Thanks Raven, I always really wonder if people like them or not. But they seem to. And I have to admit that I’ve seen some that are pretty painful to watch. So it’s good to know that I have a group of people who sincerely enjoy them.

Autumn is my favorite fashion season –> sexy boots, trenchcoats, fab rings… all these stuff I can never wear in the winter as i wear my duvet as a coat and my pillows as gloves.

Thank you Lady N! The lippie is the same I wore in WVW: Fall Preview: Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in Are You Red-dy . Honestly the best red I have ever worn, and the lipstick itself is outstanding….I’ve tried sooo many. It doesn’t feather or flake…plus it’s the perfect consistency. And cheap!
The fur vests are fantabulous!! So lucky you can wear those where you live! I’m also digging the leopard print trend. Definitely going to try to incorporate that into the wardrobe!

Thanks MJ…I am lucky that where I live has four lovely seasons. I really don’t like too much of anything in either direction. I’m looking for a wide leopard belt now…harder to find than I thought.
Loved this vlog ! Love Autumn/Winter fashion! My favourite season too. You are a woman after my own heart! You picked all the trends I love. Loving those fur gilets and I’m hanging out for thigh high boots too. Unfortunately it is still too wet and muggy to wear my furry, shaggy pieces for another couple of months yet so I’m stuck wearing a waterproof for now!

Erica, if I had to procure my own meat, pelts, etc., I would have a very different view. I couldn’t do it. That’s the truth, for better or for worse.
But thank you for your compliments and comment. As for my vlogs…they are so rudimentary! I’m still shocked anyone even thinks they are cool. I just push ON and talk. There is no special recipe!
