WVW: The Hat*

I love hats. But I should wear them more often instead of letting them languish in my closet collecting dust. This is one of my favorite summer hats…so adore a floppy straw or woven hat. I have everything from baseball hats to berets to a big fabulous faux fur number that makes me feel like a Russian princess. Maybe more shoots with hats? We’ll see.

  1. There’s something quite mesmerising about about the 1st shot – you look amazing and the dress? I want one! 🙂
Love the sleeve detail… and the hat of course is fab! – My collection of hats are doing the ‘dust collecting’ thing! Oh dear.

    1. Thank you so much! I have to admit that the first shot was my fave too. The dress was a surprise sale find in Oz that I have worn a gazillion times…with boots and a fur vest in winter, sandals and a summer scarf (or hat!) now.

  2. I like this outfit a lot, Vahni. The sunhat, the dress and your Muchos, they all work well together without being too matchy-matchy. I should buy myself a floppy hat, too. Too bad I always look kind of awkward when I wear a hat, but that might just be me. 😉

    1. Thank you Irina…it just popped into my head today and I have to say that I kind of almost didn’t recognize myself…this is not a look I often do. Til now!

With hats, it’s a matter of finding not only the right shape for your head, but the right tilt. I’m sure there is more than one out there that would look great on you!

  3. You do wear a hat well, but it’s the sandal-boots that really win my heart here. Also, love the exposed shoulder in the first shot, it’s sexy, but demure too.

  4. You look gorgeous! I too have a large hat collection that goes pretty much unworn. I’m not sure why. However, after seeing this post – I think I need to dig out one of my hats this week. BTW…would love to see the faux fur number you spoke of in a post this winter! 😉

  5. Hi V.
These photos look like an editorial shot for a magazine. Well done.
