Might the Azria clan have been subliminally influenced by Lagerfeld’s hayride for Chanel Spring 2010 (shows were last fall, remember?)? Guess it doesn’t really matter because I love this campaign regardless. BCBG spends a fortune generating lookbooks and catalogs not just for its favorite clients, but all of them. Available in-store for the taking.
I love shopping at BCBG because there is always fresh stock and fresh collateral, and catalogs not only provide major style inspiration, but come in all shapes and sizes, frequently. They are an absolute delight. Aside from that (and the fact that they’ve got great style), BCBG goods (which are more expensive than say, Banana Republic, but a lot less than high-end) hold up like nobody’s business. I have two jersey side-slit pencil skirts that I’ve literally been wearing for 12 years and they look like new. If my black one ever falls apart, I don’t know what I’ll do.
Anyway, here are more images from the Spring 2010 Accessories Catalog…
Oh, and one more thing…a confession. I just bought a pair of these pleated BCBG leather pumps (Spring 2010 collection) and they are just lovely. Beautiful on.
I have an excuse, though. I’m re-joining the corporate world very soon, and I need some sensible shoes. A girl can’t live in one pair of patent, round-toe pumps forever. These fit the bill perfectly. And they also happen to look great with my extra-long Citizens flares. Bonus.
