Talk about overreacting, yes the hat was big she should have known better but as Irina said that journalist should have just asked for the hat to be removed and if Tavi refused then that’s a valid tweet rant, anyways I would say this happens because of the insecure environment in the printed media, my guess is they were all exited with bloggers before because they never expected the design houses to take them as legit critics an as such court worthy, this is just the beginning

Instead of bitching around on Twitter, Paula should’ve just bent forward saying “Excuse me, Little Miss, would you be so kind to take your hat off during the show? I have a hard time seeing through it. Thank you!” – That’s it! No need to diss a teenager.

People these days really whine about everything. And thanks to Twitter they can share it with the world without having to rethink if their ramblings are even worth sharing.

I guess the real reason she tweeted this was because she was p***** a 13-year old teenager with a giant bow superseded her in the industry.

I think Tavi made the same point about her size…good for her! You’re right, if Tavi had chosen a more conventional headpiece, or if she were an adult…well, that’s exactly why sending out a tweet pouting about Tavi’s hat is ridiculous. Please. I’d love to be at Dior Couture, no matter whose hat I had to look through!

re: tavis hat, that grazia person should be grateful she’s not as tall as a normal person, in fact she probably has a better view BECAUSE of the hat.
it’s way more transparent than an adult size head.

Brilliant points made there!

It does smack quite seriously of sour grapes from people working in traditional publishing who quite liked their little members only club.

Publishing is changing and it’s currently in a massive state of flux. I’m sure eventually it’ll settle down and one day bloggers who’ve worked really hard to build their brands will be getting grumpy with a new breed of whoever is hogging THEIR spaces at the fashion show.

It was still a stupid hat though
